Questions and answers

Is the server free to play?

Yes. The client is free and there is no purchase required to play. Nothing is sold on this website.

Which chronicle and rates?

Lineage 2 Interlude, at x15 experience and SP. See the full rate table above for adena, drop, spoil, quest, raid boss, and enchant values.

When exactly does it open?

The grand opening date is announced soon. Closed beta and open beta both run before launch, and every date will be posted on this page.

How do I get the client?

You will use the official game client plus our server patch. The download link and instructions are published at open beta.

Will there be wipes?

Valebrund is a long term server with no scheduled wipes. Characters made during beta testing do not carry over to the live server, which is announced before launch.

What protection is in place?

The project runs anti-bot enforcement and DDoS protected hosting so the economy and prime time stay in players' hands.

Is this an official Lineage 2 server?

No. Valebrund is an independent, fan-run server and is not affiliated with NCSOFT. See the disclaimer below.

All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners. All artwork, text, and branding on this website are original works of the Valebrund team.

This website has no accounts, no forms, no analytics, and does not collect personal data beyond the standard technical server logs (IP address, user agent, request time) that the hosting infrastructure keeps for security and abuse prevention, retained briefly and not used to identify visitors. This policy may be updated before the game service launches, which will have its own privacy policy. Effective date: 21 July 2026.
